Hi ... I'm starting my blog to share about my appreciation for the beauty of nature through-out my life. My most cherished childhood memories are from being at my Grandma and Grandpa Inkster's cottage 1952 - the 1960's.. It was called Oak Point on Burnt Island and you could see it with binoculars through the Narrows from Denne's Dock. As a child I knew Mr. Denne, his mom and his daughter. I was thrilled to see the name is the same and your family is continuing on with the business. I wish I had a photo of the store and dance hall from back then and, of my Grandpa waving his handkerchief from the end of the dock so Grandma and I could come and get him in our boat with the 3.5 hp motor on it LOL. Anyway I would love to see any photos you may have of then and now on your site. I have a few black and whites of Oak Point from back then that Grandma gave me while she was still living. And it's a small world as a colleague of mine David Breckels purchased the Lily's Island (I knew it as that but I think the Camerons owned it and Vi Lily and her family had the other cottage (info from my a childhood memory). Thanks, Jill.
